glass half full
Today I was having a, crappy weather-my child took a very short nap-kind of day. My sweet friend Diana reminded me that these are the days when you should list the things that you love. Today I love the pear tree in my backyard and the beautiful pears it produces. I also love the freshly cut roses sitting on my kitchen window sill that I cut from my backyard. And in actuality, this day isn't so bad. The dreary day and short nap helped me appreciate the bright sun more when it peeked out and the extra time it gave Jack and I to get in a game of baseball, or it might have been the phone call I just received saying, "honey, let's go out for dinner and have some family time." All in all my "bad days" are just days where I haven't seen the good in them just yet.

thank you for that post. I was just thinking today was going to be "one of those days" but you just reminded me that there are so many things that can make my day that much better. Love ya!
If only I were so positive!I try to 'think' like that on those crappy days but like today, my bags under my eyes and tired body keep reminding me!You've always been such a positive, uplifting influence in everyones lives, thanks for your posts!Wish you were closer!
Why does this post bring tears to my eyes? Is it the beautiful photographs, the fact that I can TOTALLY relate to your words....or just that hearing them from you makes me MISS YOU and our times together in Oregon! :) LOVE YA! (and seriously...pears and roses IN YOUR BACKYARD...sounds heavenly!!)
And you tell me that good photos people take make you jealous! Hello! Beautiful!
You are such an awesome person. Thank goodness for blogs so I can still get the positive vibe from you. Your picture taking skills are awesome, ever considering it a part time job?
Our conversation was too short the other day. I miss you so much and wish I could have been there to help uplift your day. If not that then be there to have you take pictures of me because everything you take pictures of turns out so breathtakingly beautiful. Thanks for the reminder to find everyday things to love. Miss you!
You are inspirational and just beautiful in everyway!! Seriously, when I think of you the words poise, grace, and lovely come immediately to my mind. I hope you are doing well and know how much I miss you!
I love your pear day!
What great pics! You should be a photographer! I love your attitude. I miss you!
