I just fully entered the world of toddlerdom. If you can't see the damage behind the little boy, it can't take much to imagine; picture it; two year old, black crayon, white canvas, mom and dad no where in sight. Of course the initial shock was that of anger as I reprimanded my little angel, but as I showed the damage to his father, we both had to turn our heads because we were laughing so hard. I was impressed though that Derek could compose himself quickly enough to share in a small teaching moment with his son. Call me weird, but I savor times like these. We all chipped in and helped clean off the wall, and it ended up being one of those little moments I'll never forget.

I think he was trying to write a message on the wall...something like "let's visit the rylanders..." It's so nice how crayons are so easy to clean!

Jack is so cute. You guys need to come play sometime. Can you imagine the wonderful things Jacob could teach Jack (permanent marker instead of crayons). I have a beautiful colored on couch to prove it :).

Jack must be an angel compared to Haley! She draws on her table, chairs, my window sill, inside her little cupboard that she plays in the kitchen etc. The first few times it happend I was livid but now I just take away her crayons and help her learn to clean-up her mess. I love these little moments too :)
