Goodbye Northwest...
Hello to the Southern life
We just made the long journey to North Carolina this week, so Derek could start grad school today. Or should I say, Derek and his dad made the long journey to NC while Jack and I flew! We've been in Pennsylvania this past month hanging out with the family and helping/nagging my dad while he is recovering from open heart surgery. Derek and his dad drove the moving truck to NC and put our stuff in storage for a month until we moved into an apartment this past week. We are excited, nervous, anxious for this next part of our lives together. Derek is excited for school and to utilize his brain again. I'm excited for when the going gets tough...the weak can now drive to her family. (6 hours to PA). So here we go! Let the student life begin again except this time with kids!

Howdy neighbor! Can't wait to see you guys!!
Yes, let's get together soon! I'm not just saying this either...like really soon! :)
Ahh! That is so exciting for you guys Amy! Chase is going to dental school in a year and then he might do oral surgery so we will be in school forever! I hope you like North Carolina and I am sure you mom loves having you a little closer! I am sorry I didn't get to see you when we went back east! It would have been nice to catch up!
Hey Amy, I saw your blog on Megan's page, glad to hear you guys are getting settled- we miss your cute family at church, hope all is well!

But how awesome to be closer to your family...and to begin such an exciting journey!!
Glad everything is going well. So sad I keep missing you on your trips to PA :(
Amy! Congrats on your baby boy #2!! That is so so great.
We are just starting the school life again too. Devin is applying for MBA for 2010. What grad school is Derek doing?
You look and sound great. Keep blogging, please!
I'm so glad you've landed safely. I hope the weather has been pleasant in North Carolina. You know, we are only six hours apart now ... maybe we should get together sometime. :)
That is awesome that you are so close to your family. And congrats on another boy. I am glad you made it safely to NC and I hope everything goes well with school. Enjoy every moment because it will be over before you know it. I sometimes miss those student days in Oregon. We miss you!!
